Vote yes for cheaper bikes and to kill the HST

The HST adds 7% to the cost of bikes, bike parts and labour. It also adds 7% to the bike park and ski passes.
Even with the possible 2% cut in the HST we will still be taxed 5% more on these biking related fees.
Be sure to vote YES to kill the HST in the mail in referendum!

The PST exemption for
The PST exemption for bicycles only applied to bikes that cost less than $1000.
The cost of production, transportation and sales of bikes (and all goods) decreases because the 7% is no longer embedded in the price, while it was previously paid repeatedly.
