slunt cruz

- Forums:
i just rode the Slunt yesterday from Fat Bastard , Mushroomhead , Lactic, and holy crap! Just about had a heart attack . Frozen trail and skate shoes made for a slow gnarly uphill and what a joy when we past the slunt sign.Just wanted to say nice work everyone the ride is ultra cruzy ond flows non stop, except for that first little bit of traverse, it will get worked in.Finishing with Dem Bones back to my house the loop took about two and a half hours, and i'm way out of condition with a healing collarbone.Very positive feedback from my buddy whom I dragged out on this chilly november day, i'm lucky to have bro's that like adventure on a whim.
GET ON IT !

Anyone want to ride it
Anyone want to ride it tomorrow if it doesn't snow? Let me know! I'm tired of riding by myself and the "dirty girls" or "biker bitches" have long retired their bikes for the season.

You gonna call it "The Stupid Slunt Traverse" ??? :)
Glad everyone is enjoying
Glad everyone is enjoying the slunt trail, well worth the slug and grunt to the top. The pain in my shoulders was well worth every burm we dug to perfection. The trail should get well packed over the winter, and be even more smooth in the spring. As for the traverse over to the top of the slunt, we plan to dig that out more in the spring.

It was a sunday ride for
It was a sunday ride for me,funny i saw no new tracks, must have been the dusting of snow
So I must've rode the Slunt
So I must've rode the Slunt right behind you on Saturday, I could tell the snow was a little loosened up ahead of us.
All I can say is the Slunt (slug and a grunt?) Made dreams come true, with a huge descent all the way down to Cedar Valley Rd. via Hedonism (with the amazing new exit this season) or the other option of Dem Bones. You get ideal views from the traverse then slip into a state of utopia with practically every corner buffed and bermed up, flawlessly flow. The flow meter was on high for this trail. Singletrack tucked into a cedar and larch forest from the sign to the power line, pure heaven awaits all riders that make that small extra effort to get up to the top.
Thanks to everybody who built this trail, a ton of extra time was spent on berming the corners and digging out all the dirt that needed to make this trial perfect!
