Last week was too sloppy for bicycle racing so we'll cross our fingers for a better start on the toon- eee races this week!

you know the way it goes.
we'll be racing bikes down local trails then partying at the pub afterwords.

wednesday nights. pay 2 bucks at the start line. first rider drops in at 7pm.

BROKEBACK 16th june. yipppie yie oh kie ay!
DEM BONES 23th june. you will need a skin suit on to even have a chance of winning this one
VERBOTEN 30th june. the forbidden forest
R-TRAIL > SPLITTING BEARS 7th july. remember to wear your pedaling legs for this one
48 HOURS 14th july. drive to the top if you really want to
STUPID TRAVERSE > SLUNT > HEDONSIM 21st july. epic. huge. massive.

some classics to start of the series then some trails that have never been in the toonie races before, just to keep things zesty. mainly downhill trails, some need more pedalling than others and there's even a shuttleable trail in there for the gravity feed crowd... that doesn't mean you can't ride to the top of 48hours though. then the season finale will be the longest twoney race course in the history of civilisation. after which the series winners will be crowned king & queen of the elk valley.
points will be allocated after each race like so;
5th place = 1 point
4th place = 2 points
3rd place = 3 points
2nd place = 4 points
WINNER = 5 points, unquestionable glory and every other racers $2, that they will take straight to the bar to buy copious amounts of beer and liquor.

all trails will be lovingly pampered by the FMBC paid trail crew (AKA the backcountry trail experts) prior to racing

extreme weather, grizzly bears and or zombies may force us to re-schedule races
