I wanted to let you know about the Newest event that the Fernie Mountain Bike Club will be hosting this year........

The WAM BAM DIRT JUMP JAM will take place August 21st in conjunction with RCR's Full Throttle event. Starting at 5:30pm to dark where the finals will be under lights! Cash prizes and a whole lot of fun will be going down that day.

This year is the 4th Annual Project 9 Race. A race which consists of 3 races in one; Up, Down and Combined, is known as one of the most grueling in town. Specialize for one or go for all three.

Held every year on the 9th day of the 9th month with a race start of 19:09,

Entry Fee is $9.99 (exact change appreciated) and we meet in the Island Lake Parking lot for registration at 18:00. Awards, drinks and snacks at the pub after the race.

Calling all riders and volunteers for the next Big Mountain Challenge. The $40 enry fee for riders gets you an authentic 2010 Dirt Diggler t-shirt, a number plate, prizes, appies and beer. Additional t-shirts are $15 each and hoodies will be available upon request for $50 each.

Volunteers get free appies and beer. We're currently looking for
- first aid course marshalls
- sponsors
- shuttles
