Bighorn rim trail

Good job Trevor! Pat and I did this trail today and had a great time.
We were a little confused by your flagging. No problem following the old road up, it's a nice ridable grunt. We got to the slash piles and saw the orange ribbons following the rim. We continued up the double track till it started dropping. This didn't seem logical so we turned around. We went back till we spotted some blue ribbon on the right (rim side of the road) We followed it a ways but soon lost the trail so we doubled back to the old double track. We went back to the slash piles. We then followed your orange ribbons along the rim. When we got to your last ribbon at a great lookout point, we checked the gps and saw we were only about 100 metres from the blue ribbons we started following. We headed in that direction and found a trail through the bush marked by blue ribbons. we're not really sure that this was your intended route or not, but anyway we blocked the old road with some brush and built some cairns along the blue ribbon route to the rim.

The ride down along the rim is great. The views are spectacular. The downhill single track is excellent and had a great flow, I especially liked the way you used that gully for a kinda half pipe action.

Great job Trevor! Everybody get out there and check this one out. It's a great spring ride, destined to become an epic!

Keep up the great work my south country friend!!!
